  1. Audit existing brand assets and map competitors

  2. Interview founders on goals, constraints, and non-negotiables

  3. Profile the target audience by behavior, not demographics

  4. Identify the market position the brand needs to own

  5. Build a visual reference library from culture, not just industry

  6. Review verbal identity across all current client touchpoints

  7. Establish what the brand must never look or sound like

4 — Directions

  1. Develop four distinct visual identities in parallel

  2. Ground each in a different strategic angle

  3. Present every direction with rationale, not just visuals

  4. Explore logo construction across multiple structural approaches

  5. Assign typography and color systems to each direction separately

  6. Stress-test each direction against real use cases before presenting

  7. Client selects one direction to carry forward

2 — Minimum viable design

  1. Take the chosen direction into two fully resolved concepts

  2. Push execution and detail further in both

  3. Apply each across logo, type, color, and core touchpoints

  4. Align tone of voice to each concept independently

  5. Present in context: mockups, environments, actual scenarios

  6. Compare both against the original business objectives

  7. Client chooses one to finalize

  1. Build the final identity system to exact specification

  2. Produce all assets in the formats and sizes the client will use

  3. Write usage guidelines the internal team can follow without help

  4. Organize and label the asset library before delivery

  5. Include applied examples for immediate reference

  6. Walk the client through everything in a structured handoff call
